Beechwood Court Beechwood Court

Beechwood Court is a lovely secluded house with a friendly, family atmosphere set in 9 acres of woodland on the lower slopes of beautiful Conwy Mountain.

From the grounds there is a breathtaking view of the Conwy Estuary; the Great Orme and Victorian resort of Llandudno; and over to Anglesey with its beautiful beaches and stunning cliff walks. The historic walled town of Conwy, with its castle and harbour, is a ten minute walk from the house.

Ideal for Church and family holidays; youth groups and schools; individual breaks and retreats, Beechwood Court can accommodate around 60 guests and has 3 lounges, an outdoor multi-sports court, children's play area and bonfire and BBQ facilities.

Our new CENTRE MANAGERS - Stephen and Pauline Davidson

Stephen and Pauline Davidson We are delighted to announce that we have appointed a very Godly and capable couple, Pauline and Stephen Davidson as Centre Managers of Beechwood Court.

Stephen grew up in Darlington, Co. Durham and became a Christian at 17 through attending the local Baptist church youth club. Growing up in a Christian family for Pauline brought a varied life, initially in Nigeria where her parents were missionaries, then returning to settle for much of her schooling in Preston before her father moved to a pastorate in Darlington where she met Steve. They married December 1979 and have two grown up children; Philip, who is a teaching mentor in Macclesfield and is married to Jesse, and Jessica, who is a teacher in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Stephen was moved around the N.E of England during 20 years with the Yorkshire Bank and Pauline worked in the NHS as a Dietician for over 8 years - leaving to care for their young family. They began to feel that perhaps God was asking them to consider leaving secular work and eventually this culminated in them joining Action Partners (formerly SUM) in 1992 and serving in Nigeria for 12 years. They learnt so much from Nigerian colleagues about wholehearted commitment - and so much more!

Returning to the UK in 2004, they joined One Mission Society (formerly the Oriental Mission Society) and served at their UK headquarters in Didsbury, Manchester until December 2016 - Steve as the UK Treasurer and Pauline within the Personnel Department.

Over the past year or so God has been gently loosening their roots again and so they began to explore if there may be some new work to do together ... and here they are in need of your prayers as they embark on managing Beechwood Court.
