Around and About Brockley Hall

The North Yorkshire Coast offers plenty of peace, scenery, beauty and tranquility.

Around and About Brockley Hall It is an area which has had a great influence on the great sea hero Captain James Cook, one of the world’s greatest seafarers. His birth place museum is in Stewart Park, 114 acres of parkland and well worth a visit whilst in Saltburn.

The coastline is a wonderful scenic area of high cliffs, littered with caves, where the smugglers brought bounty to Saltburn. The area is a delight for walkers, bird watchers, photographers and surfers.

Many people have different ideas for the perfect holiday or break, but this North Yorkshire coast has just about all you would want: family beaches, delightful villages and miles and miles of moorland.

Brockley Hall is not so far from famous towns such as York, Durham, Scarborough and Hartlepool, plus the fascinating Beamish Museum ... what takes your fancy? Gardens, cliffs, beaches, moors, birdlife, farmers markets, history, museums ... Saltburn has the lot.
